The East Midlands Police Academic Collaboration (EMPAC) launch event on 4th March 2016 will introduce this new and exciting collaboration which brings together five networks of expertise to deliver 30 exciting and important research projects in the subject area of policing and public safety.
Specifically, the research networks will focus on 5 areas: local and community policing, operational policing, organisational transformation, serious organised crime, and victims, witnesses and public protection. They will deliver insightful and impactful reports, which will inform future policing policy and practice.
This launch event will give you the opportunity to meet the EMPAC Director and network leads and find out about the twenty research projects that are underway, and opportunities to participate in the fellowship programme.
Places are limited which means that each force network area can have around fifteen places, which can be reserved here.
A lunch will be provided on the day.
Please forward this invitation on to the most appropriate police practitioners and academics in your area and places will be given on a first-come first-served basis.
We look forward to meeting you on the day.
