Organisational Transformation

The Organisational Transformation Network is led by Director of the Institute for Public Safety, Crime and Justice at the University of Northampton, Laura Knight, and Assistant Chief Constable Rachel Swann of Northants Police.

This network provides insight into a series of topics related to organisational transformation within the police and other emergency services. Areas of focus include demand management, measuring successful transformation, coaching, and Special Constables.

Aims: To explore how a more efficient and effective approach to, and use of, digital materials can be achieved.

Demand Management

Aims: To evidence how taking a systems thinking approach to process improvement, demand can effectively be measured, reduced and managed.

Research questions include measuring demand in the Force Control Room, and the key variables (internal and external).
